Prole Poetry Pamphlet 
Competition 2018

The Prole Pamphlet Competition, 2018, is now open to entries from the UK and across the world.

They are looking for short collections of poetry that epitomise the values of Prole: to make writing engaging, entertaining and challenging.

Entries should be 15 to 30 A5 pages long with each poem starting on a new page.

There are no constraints on style or content, they're just after your very best quality work.

Entries should be in English and not previously published as a collection.

This year the judge is Mab Jones.




Closing date 30th June 2018.


The winner will receive £100 and 15 copies.

Please be aware, we are active editors and will work with the winner to ensure the pamphlet is the very best it can possibly be.


Entries will be passed on to Mab who will judge 'blind'. ie/ We'll make sure entries delivered to her are anonymised.

Entry fee

There is a fee of £12 for one entry and £20 for two entries. You can use the PayPal button, below (preferred) or by cheque, made out in GBP only to Phil Robertson.

Sending entries

Please send entries as a Word attachment to and include 'pamphlet' in the submission line and quote your PayPal transaction number - or send by mail to:

Try to avoid using your name on the body of the submission to make it easier for us to make sure entries are sent anonymously.


The winner will be announced and the pamphlet launched on October 1st, 2018.
