Poetry Space Competition 2018

The competition is now open for entries and remain open until the deadline of June 30th, 2018.

The competition is in its 9th year and there will be prizes of £250, £100 and £50 for the top 3, along with publication of the winning and commended poems (20 in all) in the prize winners’ anthology to be published by Poetry Space.

The top 20 poets will all receive a complimentary copy of the prizewinners’ anthology (and can pay for more). They will all also be able to choose a book or pamphlet from the online shop as part of their prize.

It is just £5, to enter a single poem on any theme.
Friends of Poetry Space ( ie supporters who pay a small yearly subscription to support our work ) can enter 2 poems for £5.
There is no limit on entry but no poet can win more than one cash prize.

Entries accepted from anywhere in the world. Poems must 40 lines or less and all poems must be previously unpublished.

You must be 16 or over to enter. No upper age limit. Poems must be your own work.
