Write Jurassic - New creative writing sessions with Louisa Adjoa Parker.
Like walking along our Jurassic coastline, picking up fossils, shells or sea glass we can mine our minds for memories and stories - nuggets that we can pull out, and shape into a piece of well-crafted writing. Like the rock making up the Jurassic coast, it is the layering of stories that makes us who we are.
Sessions are being held at:
24th August - Beach and Barnicott, 6 South St, Bridport, Dorset. DT6 3NQ
4th September - Dorset County Museum, High West St, Dorchester. DT1 1XA
23rd September - Highlands End Holiday park, Eype, Bridport. DT6 6AR
At the end of the session you will:
> Have learned a bit more about writing and how your story is part of our landscape
> Have written and edited your own poem or short story
> Have shared stories of life along the Jurassic coastline with others.
The sessions are open to anyone- beginners; those with a litte experience, and the more experienced.
The main requirement is a want to write!
Each session costs £35
Refreshments and lunch will be available to buy
